Enable Accessibility Services:
Go to [System Settings -> Accessibility -> Animated smiley -> [ON], and finish it by tapping [OK] in the following pop-up.
You may receive the warning during the process.

Please tap [OK] when it need to.

Note : Android version 4.0 or higher will automatically show animated emoticons, lower Android versions will have to tap the message to see the animation.
