It is very simple. If you have a rooted phone and xposed framework installed  you can hide your status bar icons including n/w icon, battery icon etc. First of all you need to download an app from here (SB icon hider) After that install it to your device Give a tick mark in xposed modules Reboot your device Now open SB icon hider app that you downloaded earlier Then give tick marks that you wanted to hide(some changes need reboot) Done!
